Do you remember the sort of conversation we had about clothes people wear? Amidst other things, you mentioned age, gender and society as influential when dealing with this issue. Eventually, one of you started thinking about how deceptive looks may be. And both that person and I came across some idioms that may be relevant in this context.For example, "Don't judge a book by its cover", "Appearances are deceptive" or "All that glitters is not gold".
